little children, great creativity

when we are bored we are capable of great things. one of the upsides of this crisis, might be the level of creativity that comes from it. most people are forced to spend time at home, social plans cancelled and no family gatherings. this can leave us more time to be inspired and to create. and, especially now, that is exactly what we need. which is one of the reasons we started this platform in the first place. but, back to the point.
this particularly applies to children. they might be used to a lot of distraction, and with less obvious daily activities, little ones and their parents have to be creative to stay stimulated. focusing on art and craft is an ideal way to spend time and to keep triggering their creative brains.

of course, most parents already came to that idea, and you can only draw something for grandma and bake cookies so many times.

that is why we love the initiative ‘little proba’. alex, the creative director of studio proba, introduced this project into the world, a little earlier than expected. this way she hopes to add a bit of happiness and fun into our isolated lives. make a paper collage with your little ones and send them (@alexproba) a photo of it before the 30th of march. they will pick 5 winning drawings… to turn into rugs!

a big plus: all proceeds go to different children charities.

find them on instagram. don’t forget to tag them and use the hashtag #kidsdesigningforkids.

and if you don’t have little ones, just check out their instagram. it’s soothing to look at (still dreaming about that swimming pool)
